Safe Hands Home Health Care LLC is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our growing team at our Farmington Hills, Michigan location (31300 Rexwood St, Ste A1). In this role, you'll be calling patients, playing a vital role in ensuring they receive the home healthcare services they need.

What You'll Do:

• Taking comprehensive patient schedule over the phone and gethering similar data.
• Schedule in-home visits with qualified healthcare professionals based on patient requirements and preferences.
• Process insurance information and authorizations to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Provide clear explanations of our services and answer patient questions with empathy and understanding.
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans.
• Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or related customer service role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
• A positive attitude, a compassionate nature, and a desire to help others.
